The Department of Engineering develops
the complete or partial cycle for a waste water treatment
plant from its basic design to the handover for full operation.
This is a relatively new department that is very flexible,
capable of adapting to different solutions such as the
updating of old installations and technical solutions
with different costs based the client´s needs, always
making the use of the installations and equipment straightforward.
The work developed by this department includes among others:
- Mechanical engineering: mechanical, electrical
and monitoring for technical reports and projects so
that they can be approved.
- Assessment and the solution of design problems
optimising the investment costs and running costs.
- Basic engineering and the small details.
- Design of boilers and metallic structures.
- Design of electric installations and automatics.
- Construction and redesign of treatment plants
for handover.
Human and material resources.
The engineering section is made up of a team of Industrial
engineers, Electrical engineers, Technical engineers and
draughtsmen specialised in Industrial Installations. We
also have official engineers for the approval of projects.
The training and experience of the engineers and staff
means that complex solutions can be found.
Computer software is available for the development and
printing of plans and for installation of automatics.
Continuous engineering improvement.
The trend is to use the latest technology at all design
and execution phases.
The obligatory norms and regulations are applied and those
specific to each region are included along with the needs
of the client in each case.
Communication technologies are developed and put into
practice and are used for remote monitoring.
ATM has a highly trained group available for accident
prevention and work on Safety Reports during the phases
of the project, the supervision of and collaboration with
safety plans for sub-contractors and safety co-ordination
during construction.
